Can I invest my KiwiSaver in more than one fund?

Can I invest my KiwiSaver in more than one fund?

No. With Simplicity, your KiwiSaver account can only be invested in one fund at a time.

Our KiwiSaver funds are already broadly diversified, and many of the investments across the funds overlap.

For most people, KiwiSaver has one long-term purpose, so one investment strategy is usually enough. If your goals or risk appetite change, you can switch funds anytime in the member app.

To switch funds, go to the Fund details screen, then select Switch fund under Manage your fund.

You can hold multiple Simplicity Investment Funds. These include both diversified funds and single-sector fund options.

You can find more information, including asset allocations, on our website - Investment Funds here and KiwiSaver funds here.
