How are the fees calculated on my annual statement?
On your annual member statement we calculate the fees that you've been charged during the year using the 'cents per unit' methodology. Our investment management fee represents a small fraction of the daily unit price. This small fraction is multiplied by your daily balance and the total of these amounts accumulated throughout the year is shown on your member statement against the heading 'Management and administration charges'.
Please note that on 1 April 2023 our investment management fee reduced from 0.30% to 0.29%. On 28 April 2023 other management and administration charges of 0.01% were removed, and on 1 February 2024 the fee dropped further to 0.25%. The annual member statement produced as at 31 March 2023 displays our previous fee of 0.31%.
Our membership fee of $1.67 per month was removed from December 2021.
