How do I sign my children up to Simplicity KiwiSaver?
To create a Simplicity KiwiSaver account for your child please complete the online application form here. You'll need your child's birth certificate and IRD number, and identification and IRD numbers for all of the child's parents or guardians.
All parents/guardians need to provide their details if this is the child's first KiwiSaver account. If the child has one parent/guardian, please let us know and we can advise requirements.
If you’re already a member of Simplicity, you can use the same email address you provided when you signed up. This allows you to view the accounts under one login or you can enter your child's email address if you prefer them to have online access to view their Simplicity account.
Please note that the current KiwiSaver rules mean that children under the age of 18 are not entitled to government contributions or compulsory employer contributions.
