How to transfer my KiwiSaver funds to Australian super funds?
If you’ve permanently moved to Australia, you may be able to transfer your KiwiSaver to an Australian-compliant super fund under the Trans-Tasman portability scheme. You cannot withdraw the money directly to your bank account.
Before applying, please check that your Australian super provider accepts KiwiSaver transfers. You can find the Trans-Tasman Transfer Form in the member app. Click on your KiwiSaver Fund and then under Manage your Funds, select Documents and Forms. Once the transfer is processed, please send the confirmation email you receive from us to your Australian provider so they can track the payment. If the funds haven’t appeared in your Australian Super account after 10–15 working days after you receive our transfer confirmation email, contact your Australian provider directly.
