How do I withdraw money from my KiwiSaver account?
KiwiSaver is a retirement scheme that keeps your money in a locked investment until you reach the age of 65 and are eligible to make a retirement withdrawal. There are a few other circumstances where you can make a withdrawal from your account, such as if you're purchasing your first home in NZ, are seriously ill, experiencing significant financial hardship or have moved overseas permanently (except to Australia).
